Odjak Mcconnell LLC doing business as The Porsche Specialist (us, we, the company) pride ourselves on standing behind our workmanship and the products that we provide. The following are the terms of the limited warranty on services and parts as supplied by us.
Warranty on parts and labor is twelve months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, unless indicated otherwise by us.
This limited warranty is extended to the vehicle owner/customer and is not transferable to, nor enforceable by, any other person.
This limited warranty specifically excludes: wheel alignments, sublet service items, wheel repair/refinishing, any wear items including but not limited to: wiper blades, tires, brake pads, brake discs, clutch components, flywheels, electrical wiring, short circuit, adjustments to any systems or components and fuel system repairs when due to contamination or poor fuel quality, aftermarket performance upgrades, vehicle system tunes, vehicle system programming, alarm system/remote keys, any vehicles used on the race track.
There will be no warranty on labor or parts if customer supplies parts.
Labor rate for repairs with customer supplied is $195-$250 per billable hour. We reserve the right to not install customer supplied parts at anytime.
Warranty terms apply to specific parts or services performed by us. Any warranty repairs, credits or good faith actions taken on behalf of us, will be at the discretion of the company owner. All warranty work must be performed at out location and cannot exceed the original costs of repair, nor shall it include incidental or consequential damages such as: additional expenses incurred as a result of a failed part or faulty repair/service work, including but not limited to: towing, lost wages, rental vehicle, damage to property, damages for loss of use, loss of time, loss of profits or income or any other incidental damages. In additional expressly excluded is any liability for defects pertaining to safety or performance by way of "strict liability", negligence or otherwise. All warranties either expressed or implied, including any implied warranty or merchant-ability or fitness for a particular purpose and neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any liability in connection with the sale of this part/ and or service. All parts/merchandises remains the property of us until invoice is paid in full.
Limited warranty is void and does not apply to the following: a repaired vehicle has been damaged by abnormal use, neglect, accident, track use, street racing, autocross, alteration, or tampering by someone other than us. Any repairs done to any system/service in question by anyone else before allowing us to provide our stated warranty voids any warranty with us.
VEHICLES TOWED IN WITHOUT SCHEDULING/APPOINTMENT
We understand that sometimes an emergency will happen and a situation may arise where a vehicle will need to be towed in without an appointment. Any vehicle towed in without an appointment will be addressed when our scheduling allows it. Vehicles already in for repair or customers' with prior appointments are given priority. Vehicles that are towed in must be able to be pushed/moved without external devices to move it. Vehicles towed in without an appointment or previous communication can be denied service (vehicle being dropped off on our lot does not constitute acceptance of us performing any services to your vehicle). Vehicles must have contact information for customers to be reached.
VEHICLE STORAGE/PICKUP AFTER REPAIRS
Vehicles are expected to be picked up within three business days after completion of repairs or evaluations. Unless other arrangements are made with us vehicles left at our facility face storage charges of $26 per day. After two weeks vehicles may be towed at owner's expense. Any storage fees with the towing company will be the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
